Administrative Legal Assistant Beaulieu, Saunders & Kostin, LLP Rochester, MA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Written communication Customer communication Multitasking HIPAA Microsoft Office Attention to detail Organizational skills Productivity software Full Job Description Beaulieu, Saunders & Kostin, a law office located in Rochester, MA is seeking highly organized, professional and personable Legal Assistant to join our busy firm. This is a fast-paced position requiring excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail while providing exceptional service to clients, families, attorneys and staff.
Duties :
  • Answer and direct a high volume of incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilize the firm's CRM system to prescreen calls, review client information, and determine the appropriate person to assist the caller. Answer routine client questions when the information is available and within the scope of the position.
  • Obtain and follow up on medical certificates and other required documentation from physicians, hospitals and other professionals.
  • Track outstanding documentation and follow up as needed to ensure matters remain on schedule.
  • Keep accurate records of correspondence with clients and record all time for billing.
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive, HIPAA protected information.
Experience :
  • No legal experience required, administrative role in office environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Successful candidates flourish in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, have superior written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable with repetitive follow-up. Because our clients and their families are often navigating complicated and stressful circumstances, professionalism, patience and comfort handling sensitive medical information including serious illness, injuries, disabilities and medical conditions is necessary.
