Summary We are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in our Mankato, MN office. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to communicate professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, and team members. Responsibilities include document preparation and editing, file management, court filings, calendar management, client communication, and general administrative support.. Qualifications Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to keep files and supervising attorneys organized, current, and on track so deadlines are met. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, anticipate upcoming deadlines, and complete day-to-day work accurately and efficiently. Strong command of the English language, including demonstrated proofreading, spelling, grammar, and document-editing skills. Professional communication and relationship skills when working with supervising attorneys, vendors, courts, clients, co-workers, other attorneys, and experts. Ability to work well with others, contribute to a team environment, and offer assistance when needed. Current technology skills, including the ability to fully utilize the firm's document management system, Microsoft Office, and other firm applications. Education and Experience Associate degree preferred. Experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal assistant, or administrative assistant is preferred. Position Details This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position located in Mankato, MN. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Starting wage begins around $23.00 per hour and will be based on experience and qualifications. Bonus potential is available based on objective and subjective criteria.
