We are hiring multiple people so if you have experience in one or more of these fields, you may be a good fit. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various legal tasks, ensuring efficient operations within the firm. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in document management systems, and a solid understanding of legal processes, particularly in areas such as Immigration, Matrimonial, Personal Injury and/or Real Estate work. Duties Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation. Draft, review, and manage legal documents including contracts and pleadings. Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately. Organize and maintain files using document management systems. Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases. Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Requirements Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law firm. Familiarity with document management systems such as MyCase or Cloudlex. Strong skills in legal drafting and contract management. Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail. Knowledge of Immigration, Matrimonial, Personal Injury and/or Real Estate work is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in project management to handle multiple cases simultaneously. Ability to transcribe documents efficiently and accurately. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
