The position is responsible for the administering and auditing of safety practices, programs, and policies across a range of clients concerned with safety and property protection. Assignments include responsibility for on-site audits and observations, determination of technical adequacy of plans, designs, and specifications for improvement of safety compliance.

• Bilingual is preferred - translate Spanish and English with employees.
• Performs audits and inspections of work sites, as required, to assure compliance with safety and health program requirements; prepares technical reports of inspection findings; and develops corrective actions.
• Prepares Job Hazard Analyses, coordinates Daily Work Permits and Special Procedures for Confined Space, Hot Work etc. while directing safety and occupational health of employees at jobsite.
• Inspects construction projects to determine compliance with applicable occupational safety standards.
• Completes hazard and job safety analysis to ensure proper use of machinery and equipment, personal protective equipment, and procedures.
• Conducts incident investigations to ascertain causes and to develop preventive safety measures.
• Assists in training employees and following up on skills while on jobsites.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of safety experience is preferred Safety Degree or Science is preferred Willing to travel up to 50% of the time to jobsites across the country Demonstrated time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills Spanish/English bilingual is preferred Job will be based out of our corporate office in New Albany, IN but will travel to jobsites.
