Education, The Safety & Security Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and supervision of the Center's Safety & Security Department. This position ensures a safe, secure, and compliant living, learning, and working environment for students and staff. The Manager oversees Center-wide security operations, safety programs, accident prevention initiatives, incident investigations, and compliance with Department of Labor (DOL), Job Corps, and Company requirements. The position requires sound judgment, discretion, and strong leadership skills to effectively address safety concerns, resolve student and staff issues, and promote a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree from an accredited institution or related professional certifications preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in military service, law enforcement, and/or safety management required. OSHA Certification required. Valid in-state driver's license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements. DOL approval required if reporting directly to the Center Director. Must be able to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and/or assess lifting requirements and request assistance when necessary.
