The EHS Manager ( Environmental, Health, and Safety ) oversees workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental management across facility operations. This role ensures strict alignment with OSHA, EPA, and Department of Defense (DoD) standards while driving proactive hazard prevention, managing compliance databases, and supporting quality frameworks. Key Responsibilities Explosive Safety & Defense Compliance Maintain full compliance with DoD 4145.26-M Conduct weekly inspections of production buildings and explosive storage magazines. Monitor Net Explosive Weight ( N.E.W. ) limits and ensure explosive-compatibility adherence. Lead preparation and representation during quarterly Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits. Occupational Safety & Health (OSHA) Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) triennial reviews and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) 5-year re-validations. Direct training, inspections, recordkeeping, and reporting for all site-generated waste. Coordinate specialized regulatory training programs, including DOT, IATA, and

. Training, Quality & Continuous Improvement Conduct onboarding safety training for all incoming personnel and maintain site-wide training records. Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings and site-wide safety updates. Align safety SOPs and work instructions with

Education & Experience Requirements Education:

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Health, Risk Management, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an EHS supervisory or managerial role.

Preferred Experience:

Prior background in a high-hazard manufacturing environment. Direct experience with energetics, explosives, or hazardous materials handling.
