Riverside EpiCenter and designated partner schools Position Summary The Transportation Associate provides safe, reliable, and timely transportation for students participating in the After-School Program. The primary responsibility of this position is to pick up student participants from designated school locations and transport them to the Riverside EpiCenter for afterschool programming. The Transportation Associate may also provide transportation support for approved program activities, enrichment experiences, and other program-related needs as scheduled. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport student participants from designated schools to the Riverside EpiCenter Monday through Friday. Follow established student pickup, drop-off, attendance, and transportation procedures. Maintain accurate daily transportation and mileage logs. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks. Maintain communication with program staff regarding student attendance, schedule changes, delays, or transportation concerns. Ensure students follow established vehicle safety and behavior expectations. Maintain the cleanliness and basic readiness of the assigned program vehicle. Immediately report accidents, vehicle concerns, student incidents, or safety issues to program leadership. Provide transportation for approved field trips, enrichment activities, or special program events when scheduled. Maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with students, families, school personnel, and program staff. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate the program vehicle and meet all organizational and insurance requirements. Dependable transportation to and from the assigned work location. Ability to work a flexible Monday-Friday schedule based on school dismissal times and program needs. Strong communication, reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills. Experience working with or transporting school-aged youth is preferred. Must successfully complete all required background checks, driving record reviews, and organizational safety requirements. Work Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10-15 hours per week . The schedule will primarily correspond with school dismissal and afterschool program hours, with flexibility required based on school calendars, early-release days, field trips, and other program activities.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
