This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or earlycareer professional looking to launch a rewarding career in construction safety under the mentorship of an experienced safety leader. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about workplace safety, comfortable working with technology, and interested in developing a long-term career within the construction industry. As a Safety Coordinator, you will work closely with operations, field personnel, and Human Resources to support our company-wide safety program across jobsites, shops, and equipment yards throughout the country. Key Responsibilities Safety Program Administration Maintain and update the company Safety Training Matrix for all trades and positions. Assist with developing, tracking, and documenting employee safety training. Conduct and facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions. Ensure safety records, certifications, and compliance documentation remain current. Assist with company risk management initiatives to reduce workplace injuries, property damage, and operational losses. Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Participate int the safety award program Assist with maintaining the safety dashboard, OSHA logs, injury statistics, experience modification rate (EMR) data, and other risk-related performance metrics. Jobsite & Facility Safety Support safety compliance efforts on active construction jobsites. Conduct safety inspections of jobsites, shops, and equipment yards. Identify hazards and assist with corrective action implementation. Monitor adherence to company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Onsite Safety representation for projects when required. Compliance & Documentation Manage safety-related paperwork and regulatory documentation. Assist with contract management requirements related to site safety compliance. Maintain safety records and reporting in Procore Safety Hub and other digital platforms. Support incident investigations and corrective action tracking. Equipment & Fleet Safety Assist with equipment inspections and safety compliance programs. Track inspection records and maintenance-related safety documentation. Promote safe equipment operation practices among field personnel. Human Resources & Employee Support Assist with onboarding safety requirements for new hires. Support employee certification and training record management. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in: Occupational Safety & Health or Related field Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology-based systems. Ability to present information and conduct training in a professional manner. Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout the country when needed. Preferred OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification. Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation or ASP eligibility What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A recent graduate or early-career professional.
