Job Description

EnSource Construction Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to support daily safety operations at our active construction site in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This position will work closely with project management, field supervisors, subcontractors, and construction crews to maintain a safe and compliant jobsite. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Monitor field activities and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies. Conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations, and other jobsite safety training. Ensure employees and subcontractors properly use required PPE. Review JHAs/JSA and assist field teams with implementing appropriate safety controls. Monitor work involving fall protection, ladders, aerial lifts, electrical hazards, hot work, and other construction-related risks. Document safety observations, incidents, corrective actions, and inspection results. Investigate incidents and near misses and assist with corrective action plans. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client safety representatives. Maintain required safety documentation and records. Stop or escalate unsafe work when an immediate safety hazard is identified. Qualifications Previous construction safety experience preferred. Knowledge of OSHA construction safety requirements. OSHA 30 preferred. Experience working on active commercial, industrial, MEP, or large-scale construction projects is preferred. Strong field presence and ability to communicate effectively with construction crews. Ability to identify hazards and follow through on corrective actions. Comfortable working primarily in an active construction-site environment. Basic computer and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
OSHA 30 Construction First Aid/CPR Additional safety certifications such as CHST are a plus.

Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
