Maintenance & Safety Coordinator PEBCO, Inc. | Paducah, KY PEBCO is seeking a Maintenance & Safety Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations and workplace safety programs. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and tooling, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience with equipment maintenance, fabrication, and OSHA compliance is highly preferred.
What You'll Do:
Implement and oversee the shop's OSHA compliance program, including written safety programs, safety meetings, routine inspections, employee training, investigations, and record retention Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform emergency or unscheduled repairs on production equipment and tooling Repair or replace defective components, make equipment adjustments, and test machinery to ensure proper operation Coordinate equipment and tooling repairs with outside vendors when necessary Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and tooling in accordance with operating manuals and manufacturer specifications Clean, inspect, and lubricate machinery, equipment, and mechanical components to ensure reliability and longevity Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation to support equipment history and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or vocational certification preferred Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform repairs independently Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance documentation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment Schedule & Compensation Full-time position Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts Occasional overtime as needed
Pay:
