Job Description

Hatch Stamping Company is looking for a Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, where your expertise will drive a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs that protect our employees, the environment, and the community. Your proactive approach will foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary). Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and workers' compensation law requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and root cause analysis to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Lead safety training sessions focused on OSHA standards, first aid procedures, CPR certification, and occupational health best practices to empower employees with essential safety skills. Manage incident investigations by preparing detailed reports, analyzing root causes, and recommending preventive measures to reduce future risks. Oversee compliance with environmental regulations by monitoring waste management, emissions controls, and hazardous material handling procedures. Coordinate emergency response plans, including first aid readiness and communication with local emergency responders during incidents. Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation to support continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards and EPA regulations. Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety training, and familiarity with workers' compensation law are highly desirable. Knowledge of occupational health principles and experience conducting root cause analysis for safety incidents. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document investigations and compliance activities clearly. Strong training & development skills to educate employees on safety protocols effectively. Ability to perform detailed safety inspections, hazard assessments, and emergency response planning confidently.
