Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gooseneck Transportation OTR (Over-the-Road) Driver operating without a CDL! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting specialized gooseneck trailers across long distances, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in local and regional routes, combined with excellent customer service skills, will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Operate gooseneck trailers across designated regional and long-haul routes, adhering strictly to all traffic and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer, ensuring optimal maintenance and safety compliance. Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity during transit. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams to confirm delivery schedules and address any logistical issues promptly. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes, avoid delays, and ensure timely deliveries across various locations. Maintain accurate records of mileage, delivery logs, maintenance checks, and client interactions in compliance with state transportation regulations. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during pickups and deliveries, fostering positive client relationships. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on safe transportation practices. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or limousine services; familiarity with passenger van operation is a plus. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during cargo loading and unloading. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Knowledge of local driving routes as well as state transportation regulations governing non-CDL freight transport. Experience in medical transportation or shuttle driving enhances versatility in passenger vehicle operation. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 - 66.0 per week
