Construction Safety Specialist Ridgefield, NJ | Full-Time | Starting Mid-October 2026 Compliance Management International (CMI) is hiring an experienced Construction Safety Specialist for a construction project in Ridgefield, NJ, starting mid-October 2026. We're looking for a hands-on EHS/Safety Professional with 5+ years of construction safety experience and a strong MEP background—either working directly in the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades or providing safety oversight for MEP contractors and activities. What You'll Do Provide daily construction safety / EHS oversight for contractors and subcontractors Conduct jobsite inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and observations Review JHAs/JSAs, Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentation Coach contractors and trades on OSHA compliance and safe work practices Oversee MEP, electrical safety, NFPA 70E, LOTO, fall protection, scaffolding, confined space, hot work, excavation, cranes, rigging, and material handling Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and drive corrective actions Ensure compliance with
