Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Specialist to join our team. The Site Safety Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Duties:

Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Skills:

Experience in construction site safety practices
Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics
Understanding of occupational health principles
Ability to manage compliance with regulatory requirements such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
Knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols
