Site Safety Specialist

Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Specialist to join our team. The Site Safety Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Skills:
  • Experience in construction site safety practices
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
  • Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics
  • Understanding of occupational health principles
  • Ability to manage compliance with regulatory requirements such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
  • Knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols
