Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Specialist to join our team. The Site Safety Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.Duties:
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Skills:
- Experience in construction site safety practices
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
- Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics
- Understanding of occupational health principles
- Ability to manage compliance with regulatory requirements such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols
