Job Description

International Raw Materials LTD (IRM) markets and distributes crop nutrients and industrial commodities through our extensive distribution system. Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve safety policies, procedures, SOPs, and health and safety plans Coordinate safety meetings, training initiatives, and emergency preparedness activities, including drills and related documentation Administer safety observation, inspection, and audit programs, including tracking corrective and preventive actions Coordinate inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and support regulatory compliance Oversee incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and trend analysis Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for management Communicate safety concerns, compliance updates, and action item status to site personnel and management Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in safety, compliance, logistics, terminal operations, or a related field; environmental or marine experience preferred IRCA or ASQ auditor certification preferred Working knowledge of OSHA, hazardous chemicals, Dangerous Goods/HAZMAT requirements, emergency response, and applicable federal and state regulations Experience conducting incident investigations, managing corrective action programs, and supporting compliance initiatives Familiarity with DOT, PHMSA, Coast Guard, marine terminal, or bulk materials operations preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems Ability to travel regularly between West Coast terminal locations

From $75,000.00 per year
