JOB SUMMARY

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the organization's personnel, assets, and facilities. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing security, doorman and transportation staff, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency response teams as needed. The Security Manager ensures compliance with relevant laws and standards while maintaining a secure environment that supports the organization's operations. This is a seasonal position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Establishes and enforces security procedures for protection of members, guests, and employees and their property; recommends additional controls and procedural changes to other departments that will provide increased protection. Maintains 24/7 availability for communication regarding any emergencies or related incidents. Keeps and Maintains Key Control for all Carriage House Club doors Collaborates with the human resources department regarding employment reference checks, security clearances and the preparation of reports related to accidents, insurance, and employee processing. Conducts confidential or special investigations as requested by the Director of Operations Interviews, hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates door, security, and transportation team. Completes performance reviews for security and transportation. Arrange work schedule for security and transportation, approve overtime and vacation schedules; completes time cards and submits them with schedules to Director of Operations. Completes written reports of all complaints and violations. Conducts the training of all Carriage House Crew Members in first aid, fire protection, emergency, and all other security procedures. Attends management meetings and training sessions; conducts staff meetings. Reports maintenance, lighting, plumbing and electrical problems immediately. Patrols the club, adjacent buildings and tours the club grounds periodically during work shifts. Oversees warehouse team with organization and cleanliness. Ensures all items are transported to and from the warehouse Conducts routine safety inspections on a random and recurring basis. Acts as liaison for all area Law Enforcement and Emergency Services. Act as the liaison for the valet company including scheduling for special events and other occasions. Act as the liaison for the cleaning company including scheduling for special events and other occasions. Works directly with all teams including the Events Team and the Director of Concierge regarding incoming events and guest needs. Keeps track logs of ARTWORK movement and locations at all times Investigates any alleged crimes committed on club premises; cooperates with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of crimes including the exchange of reports and information and by appearance in courts of law. Completes other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Possess strong knowledge of security operations and procedures Has thorough knowledge and certifications regarding OSHS regulations for the service industry. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under pressure Has an upbeat, energetic, authentic, and professional attitude Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules. Strong organizational and verbal communication skills Excellent guest and employee relations skills Ability to satisfactorily communicate in jobrelated English. Occasional sitting and lifting up to 65 pounds. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, and controls. Able to cope with physical and mental stress. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling, repetitive actions. Continuous standing, walking, talking, hearing, and seeing. OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certifications Must maintain annual First Aid and BBP certifications

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
