SECURITY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Private Residential Patrol Company | Albuquerque, New Mexico Position Summary. An established private residential patrol company is seeking a hands-on Security Operations Manager to lead daily operations, supervise patrol officers, maintain dependable coverage, and ensure accurate reporting and follow-through. This position combines field oversight, staff management, customer communication, and administrative responsibility. This is an unarmed patrol operation, and firearms are not carried while on duty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule patrol coverage, manage time-off requests, and arrange coverage for open shifts.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate patrol officers, including addressing attendance, performance, and conduct issues promptly.
• Monitor patrol activity and ensure required routes, shift logs, incident reports, and other records are completed accurately and on time.
• Respond to urgent calls and incidents, coordinate with law enforcement when appropriate, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Recruit and onboard qualified officers and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain patrol vehicles, uniforms, equipment, and related inventory, including maintenance and repair records.
• Prepare payroll hours, invoices, receipts, and recurring operational reports by established deadlines.
• Maintain employee licensing, training, and continuing-education records.
• Maintain the company CRM system and lead the customer outreach program.
• Represent the company professionally at community meetings and in communications with customers and partner organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to obtain New Mexico Private Patrol Operations Manager license.
• Current New Mexico Level Three security guard registration.
• Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass required background screening.
• At least 5 years of prior security and supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, GPS, CRM systems, and digital reporting tools.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, discretion, strong follow-through, and the ability to work independently.
• Availability to respond to staffing issues, emergencies, and occasional evening or weekend operational needs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a salary exempt position with a starting pay of $60,000. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, 401(k), paid time off, STD, LTD, and life insurance.
