Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Check in customers Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or hazards. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors to control access points effectively. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism attempts. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents to ensure swift resolution. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform surveillance using CCTV systems with attention to detail. Knowledge of conflict management techniques and conflict resolution strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected. Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations responsibly. Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as needed.
