8:30 AM - 9:30 PM, Seven Days a Week Crocker Security Services is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Security Officer for a cannabis dispensary in Grass Valley, California. The primary responsibility of this position is to greet customers, verify identification, and manage customer check-ins while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. We are looking for someone who is friendly, attentive, reliable, and comfortable interacting with customers throughout their shift. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Check customer identification and verify age in accordance with dispensary policies and applicable regulations. Assist with customer check-ins and manage entry into the facility. Monitor the entrance and maintain a safe, orderly environment. Provide excellent customer service while enforcing facility policies. Observe and report suspicious activity or potential security concerns. Communicate professionally with dispensary staff, customers, and management. Complete incident reports when necessary. Minimum Requirements Must possess a valid, active California BSIS Guard Card. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have open availability seven days a week, including weekends, between 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Must have reliable transportation to Grass Valley, CA. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to remain standing for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Preferred Qualifications Previous security or customer service experience. Experience working in retail, dispensaries, or other customer-facing environments. Familiarity with identification verification procedures. Scheduling Applicants must have flexible availability Monday through Sunday between 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Actual shifts and scheduled workdays will be assigned based on operational needs.
