In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by managing access control, monitoring activities through surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your presence will help foster a welcoming yet secure atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their experience confidently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a lively setting while upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties Control access to the venue by verifying guest identification and performing background checks when necessary Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas. Conduct thorough patrolling of the premises to ensure physical security and identify potential hazards Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining order Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or crowd management purposes Experience Previous experience in security roles such as law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation; ongoing training in emergency response procedures is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management and de-escalation skills Knowledge of physical security practices including patrolling routines, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in high-pressure situations
