As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Perimeter Inspection in Bradley, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
