Job Description

Position Overview Guards will provide a professional and visible security presence while protecting clients, employees, visitors, and property. Responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining situational awareness, responding to incidents, and enforcing client policies and post orders. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, observant, and able to remain calm and make sound decisions in a variety of situations. Essential Responsibilities Maintain a visible and professional armed security presence at assigned Greenlight locations. Conduct foot and stationary patrols of assigned areas. Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and other designated locations. Maintain situational awareness and identify potential security threats or suspicious activity. Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents. Carry, draw, and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable laws, training, and LDG policy. Enforce client policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and respectful approach. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, gates, parking areas, and designated perimeters. Communicate effectively with clients, employees, visitors, supervisors, and other security personnel. Operate radios, surveillance equipment, and other security systems as required. Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports. Immediately report significant incidents, safety concerns, or security violations to the appropriate supervisor. Provide professional customer service while maintaining security responsibilities. Follow all LDG policies, client post orders, and applicable laws and regulations. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty. Equipment & Licensing NRA Basic Pistol Certification or ability to obtain. Duty firearm with Level II or higher retention holster. Magazine pouch. OC spray. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm. Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred. Must successfully complete required firearms qualification and background screening. Must demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and able to report to assigned locations on time and as scheduled. Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to conduct foot patrols. Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift. Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on assigned location. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to wear required duty equipment for the duration of the shift. Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations.
Schedule Shift:
Thursday - Wednesday 9:30a - 6pm 7 on 7off schedule Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
