Security Officer - Power Plant This is being cross-posted for both Cambria and Indiana County job seekers (location of worksite is in New Florence, Indiana County) Now Hiring Security Officers We are seeking dependable, professional Security Officers to provide security services at a power generation facility. This is a stable opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail, and can maintain a professional presence in a critical infrastructure environment. Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the facility
Verify employee, contractor, and visitor identification
Conduct routine security patrols of the property
Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other systems
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and security concerns
Enforce facility security procedures and access-control policies
Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency personnel
Maintain a visible and professional security presence
Perform other security-related duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous security experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and observation skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to pass required background checks and site-specific screening
