As a Security Officer Access Control in Bryan, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site partners while supporting a welcoming environment. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records. Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vendors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and protect restricted production areas. Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and designated facility areas, reporting security-related hazards, unusual activity, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
