SCC -Security Control Center Officer - The Security Control Center (SCC) Guard serves as the central hub for the company's physical security operations. Based in the high-tech environment of the control room, this specialist monitors surveillance feeds, manages access control systems, and coordinates communications during daily operations and emergency incidents. Rather than patrolling on foot, this role acts as the "eyes and ears" that directs and protects the entire facility.

Key Responsibilities Surveillance & Monitoring:

Continuously monitor live Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, alarm systems, and fire/safety indicators to detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.

Incident Management & Dispatch:

Serve as the primary dispatcher. Coordinate real-time responses by directing on-foot patrol guards and, when necessary, contacting local police, fire departments, or medical emergency services.

Access Control Administration:

Remotely manage building access logs, grant or revoke visitor permissions, and verify credentials via video/intercom systems.

Communications Hub:

Handle all incoming emergency calls and routine security radio traffic. Ensure precise information flow across teams.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain an accurate, chronological digital log of all daily events, alarms, and shift activities. Draft formal Incident Reports for leadership.

System Testing:

Conduct routine checks on control center hardware, software, and backup power systems to ensure 100% operational readiness. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergency situations. Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.

Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a security officer or in a related field is preferred but not necessary. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license.
