This isn't a gig. It's a career opportunity. We are not mass hiring or simply filling vacancies. We are carefully selecting mature, emotionally intelligent professionals with prior U.S. military and/or U.S. law-enforcement experience who can represent Guardian Group across a wide range of professional and operational environments. Our Special Projects Agents must be equally comfortable operating around executives and private clients as they are working in critical-site, high-value, or elevated-security environments. Professional presence, discretion, adaptability, and judgment matter just as much as tactical capability. Special Projects Agents :
3 Full-Time Agents - Weekdays 40 hours per week / five 8-hour shifts 6 AM-2 PM | 2 PM-10 PM | 10 PM-6 AM 2 Part-Time Agents - Weekends 24 hours per week / two 12-hour shifts Saturday & Sunday Day and night positions These schedules are specific to this account. Other Special Projects assignments operate according to their individual client and mission requirements. This account operates 24/7/365, including holidays . Who We Are Looking For Prior U.S. military and/or U.S. law-enforcement experience is required. Preferred backgrounds include Military Police, Combat Arms, military medical specialties, law-enforcement patrol, undercover operations, tactical operations, protective services, and comparable operational assignments. We are specifically looking for professionals who are: Emotionally intelligent, mature, composed, and approachable Neatly groomed and professionally presented Discreet and capable of protecting confidential information Adaptable enough to fit naturally into a wide variety of environments and client settings Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal judgment Situationally aware without being unnecessarily confrontational Reliable, punctual, accountable, and team-oriented Capable of knowing when to engage, when to observe, and when to remain discreet Comfortable working in uniform, plain clothes, professional business attire, or a black suit Special Projects personnel must demonstrate strong pistol proficiency and safe weapons handling and must meet and maintain Guardian Group Special Projects Division pistol qualification standards . Candidates must possess appropriate Florida security licensing, current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and successfully complete applicable background and drug screening. Candidates must also successfully complete the Guardian Group Operational Fitness Assessment (OFA) and be capable of safely performing essential duties while wearing required operational equipment, including body armor up to Level IV, with or without reasonable accommodation. One Division. One Standard. Full-time and part-time Special Projects Agents are held to the same professional, operational, firearms, medical, grooming, and conduct standards. Required Guardian Group training is paid for both full-time and part-time Agents . We Invest in Our People Guardian Group is not a typical security company. We maintain an internal training unit and Learning Management System (LMS) and place significant emphasis on continuing firearms, emergency medical, operational, and professional development. Selected personnel may also be sent to specialized external and credentialed training based on performance, aptitude, professional development, and company requirements. Opportunities may include credentialed TSCM training, UAS/drone operations, advanced weapons and tactics, surveillance and counter-surveillance operations, maritime security operations, advanced medical training, security technology, and other specialized disciplines . Selected Agents may also attend short-duration introductory Executive Protection courses for familiarization and cross-training . These courses are developmental and separate from the formal qualifications required for assignment within our Executive Protection Division. These opportunities are earned . Compensation, Benefits & Career Development Starting Pay:
$34.00 per hour Eligible full-time employees receive 80 hours of PTO annually, 401(k) with employer match, and 1.5× pay when working designated federal holidays . Both full-time and part-time Agents receive paid required training and professional development opportunities . Special Projects offers multiple professional pathways: Security Agent Technician / Specialized Roles Team Lead Account Manager Director Career progression is not necessarily linear. Some Agents develop into technical specialists , others into leadership and management, and qualified Special Projects Agents frequently develop the experience necessary to compete for opportunities within our Executive Protection Division .
