Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Alpha-Tech Aviation Services (Orlando, FL) seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to provide test diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services regarding aircraft operations.

Specific duties include:

perform and assist aircraft maintenance work approved by supervising full-time professional and lead mechanic within the scheduled shift; perform routine inspections of mechanical components of engine, motors and parts to identify problems; recommend replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment based on inspection; perform all duties under the management, coordination, and in support of full-time professionals; ensure completeness of all assigned aircraft maintenance work documents and records; coordinate all activities with supervisor and lead mechanic in charge; research all pertinent aerospace engineering information and material for work scheduled on aircraft; review maintenance records to determine if service and maintenance checks, repairs, and overhauls were performed at prescribed intervals; maintain repair logs, documenting all preventative and corrective aircraft maintenance activities; ensure that all tools (both personal and company owned) are removed from the aircraft, aircraft engines, appliances, and components; follow all rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees; always follow approved published procedures unless proper deviation is authorized. Must present their own 178 pc Aircraft on Ground Medium Mobile Tool Kit prior to interview. Must have Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certification. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Quality Control Inspector, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, or similar position working with large commercial transport aircraft.

Specific experience must include:

working on A320CL/NEO, B737MAX, A330 and A350 aircraft; reading and understanding aircraft manuals, including AMM, WDM, and SRM; and working with avionics; organizing and tracking personal tools in a systematic manner. Must present their own 178 pc Aircraft on Ground Medium Mobile Tool Kit prior to interview. Must have Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certification. Full time position.
