is seeking qualified candidates for UH-60 Aircraft Mechanics supporting the U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning GA. Purpose of Position:

Be part of a team that impacts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures, troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel systems on the

UH-60L/M

helicopter. Performs maintenance procedures as a scheduled Phase Team member, Unscheduled Maintenance and Daily Maintenance Operations in order to sustain a fully qualified fleet for the

UH-60L/M

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mechanic I Removes, Inspects, installs, and services aircraft subsystem assemblies and components. Safely prepares aircraft for inspections and services. Performs limited maintenance operational checks and troubleshoots aircraft systems. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment. Uses a working knowledge of technical publications and the Government STAMIS to make entries in electronic aircraft logbooks and records. When qualified and when required, perform non-crew member duties. When qualified and assigned to crane operator duties shall have three years of crane operation related experience and shall comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for

Construction, Subpart:

CC Cranes & Derricks in Construction 1926.1427 Operator qualification and Certification. When required complete an annual Respiratory fit test in order to, use Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) for job duties. Working with and repairing structural and sheet metal maintenance tasks as needed and if qualified through proper documentation. Perform other qualified duties as assigned. When required may have to perform Temporary Duty at an operational site in order to repair aircraft. Required Documents / Qualifications for

(Submit all applicable documents with your resume) Two years of experience with documented training (by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military experience and training, DD Form 214, initial UH-60 qualification training certificate) on the MDS UH-60/HH-60/SH-60 and MH-60 series or current (valid) FAA A&P license and at least one (1) year of documented maintenance experience on the UH-60 helicopter, or general aviation experience in Helicopters. certification, Advanced Training within the service that depicts technical inspector training Current Resume that depicts past UH-60 experience or U.S. Army MDS Helicopter experience High School Graduate or GED Valid driver's license required.

Desirable:

Knowledge of equipment related to the removal of individual systems on the UH-60 (example Overhead Hoist, Tug's, Towing Equipment, Specialized Slings, Straps and Specific Clamps) Knowledge of military publications (including electronic manuals), drawings, blueprints, microfilm, diagrams, and schematics is mandatory. Knowledge of military and/or company forms required by work specifications is a plus.

Physical Factors Environment:

Aircraft areas/hangars, workshops, and other industrial settings Will be required to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, work in confined spaces and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds. Most heavy lifting is accomplished using mechanical devices. The FAA/DOT/ACLC and the Hiring Authority require preemployment drug testing and random drug testing during employment, an initial OSHA Respirator Questioner sheet for assisted breathing devices for confined spaces and annual Respirator Fit Test if applicable, basic medical physical test, security background check.
