This position is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and helping ensure our aircraft remain safe, reliable, and available for flight operations. We are looking for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently, and understands the importance of safety, regulatory compliance, and aircraft availability in a high-utilization flight training environment. Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical discrepancies.
Perform inspections, repairs, alterations, and preventive maintenance within the privileges of the mechanic's certificates and ratings.
Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, and approved technical data.
Complete accurate aircraft maintenance records and logbook entries.
Monitor aircraft times and upcoming inspections and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate maintenance scheduling to minimize aircraft downtime.
Identify and coordinate parts and materials required for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Communicate aircraft discrepancies, maintenance status, and expected return-to-service times with flight operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional maintenance environment.
Assist with maintaining maintenance records and regulatory compliance for the aircraft fleet. Required Qualifications
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
Working knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and aircraft maintenance record requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform aircraft maintenance independently within the privileges of the applicant's certificates and ratings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety.
Dependable, organized, and able to communicate effectively with flight operations. Preferred Qualifications
Inspection Authorization (IA).
General aviation maintenance experience.
Experience maintaining Cessna aircraft.
Cirrus aircraft maintenance experience.
Experience maintaining aircraft in a high-utilization flight training environment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 80.0 per week
