Updated 08/2026 Job Description Job Summary STS Technical Services is hiring Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanics in Lafayette, Louisiana to support aircraft maintenance operations tied to lease return projects. Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have hands-on maintenance and repair experience on S-92 or UH-60 aircraft. Position Overview The Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanic will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role supports fast-paced, safety-critical aviation operations with a strong focus on quality and turnaround time. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft maintenance in support of lease return projects Complete assigned task cards in accordance with company and regulatory standards Conduct routine and non-routine inspections Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft systems Remove and replace aircraft components as required Perform general structural and mechanical repairs Execute operational checks to ensure proper system functionality Comply with all safety and quality standards Perform other duties as assigned in support of maintenance operations Aircraft Experience S-92 UH-60 VH-92 EC-145 Qualifications Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required Minimum of 2+ years of S-92 experience required Candidates with UH-60 or VH-92 experience must have 4-5+ years of relevant experience Inspection experience is highly preferred Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and safety requirements Ability to complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory standards Must be able to pass standard pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screening Additional Details Position is based in Lafayette, Louisiana supporting PHI Aviation operations Weekly per diem is offered on top of the hourly rate Currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift.
