Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to performing high-quality aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA requirements and established company procedures. This position will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft and aircraft systems while ensuring all work is properly documented and completed to applicable safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and aircraft system discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions. Inspect aircraft components and systems for wear, damage, proper operation, and airworthiness. Complete maintenance work in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, approved maintenance manuals, and company procedures. Remove, repair, replace, adjust, and install aircraft components as necessary. Utilize precision tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and other specialized aviation maintenance equipment. Assist with fabrication, modification, fitting, and installation of aircraft parts and structures when required. Complete accurate and timely maintenance records, work orders, logbook entries, and other required documentation. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance and hangar environment. Follow established safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns. Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel, pilots, management, customers, and aviation professionals. Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate . Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience . Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, inspection procedures, and maintenance practices. Ability to properly use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and aircraft maintenance equipment. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical publications, diagrams, and applicable FAA documentation. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle aircraft components, tools, and equipment. Comfortable working in a physically demanding aviation maintenance and hangar environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with sheet metal fabrication and repair. Soldering experience. Experience with multiple aircraft types. Familiarity with electronic maintenance tracking, work-order, or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
