ENHANCED Updated 09/09/2026 Job Description Job Summary The Official Flight Training Provider for Bowling Green State University
Primary Responsibilities:
Diagnose, adjust, and repair various aircraft systems, including airframes, propellers, components, avionics, engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
Key Job Tasks:
Demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail in executing primary job functions. Troubleshoot and address discrepancies in airframes and engines. Interpret and follow maintenance manuals and installation instructions accurately. Execute high-quality repairs or modifications in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
Possess a basic set of hand tools. Available to work flexible hours, including nights, and weekends.
Physical Demands:
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Work Context:
Body Positioning:
Engage in bending or twisting body movements. Perform repetitive motions. Stand for extended periods. Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Work Attire:
Wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, or hearing protection. Requirements
Education & Experience:
High school diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). FAA-issued Airframe and Powerplant endorsement. FAA Inspection Authorization is a plus. Avionics experience is preferred. Advancement opportunities based on satisfactory performance and operational requirements.
Compensation/Benefits:
Competitive pay. Eight paid holidays annually. Two weeks (80 hours) paid time off in the first year, with increasing PTO starting in the second year. Company-sponsored 401K retirement plan.
