Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, 40 hours per week

Texas Aircraft Parts Brokers Texas Aircraft Parts Brokers purchases and parts out Hawker business jets, primarily Hawker 800, 800XP, and Hawker 1000, and Cessna Citation 550. We supply serviceable aircraft parts and components to operators and repair stations. We are hiring an experienced, mechanically inclined technician to join our aircraft disassembly team. An FAA A&P certificate is not required, but applicants must have hands-on mechanical experience in automotive repair, diesel mechanics, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, aviation, or a similar field. Candidates must have a strong mechanical foundation and be able to work with tools, follow technical instructions, troubleshoot problems, and complete assignments independently. Applicants with an A&P certificate are encouraged to apply but must also have hands-on mechanical experience. A&P-certified candidates may qualify for additional responsibilities based on their experience. Responsibilities Disassemble and part out aircraft using maintenance manuals and technical documentation Remove, preserve, tag, label, and stage aircraft components Troubleshoot mechanical challenges and complete assigned work independently Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, stands, and shop equipment Keep parts, tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organised Follow company procedures and aviation safety standards Required Qualifications At least two years of hands-on mechanical experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work confidently with hand and power tools Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation Willingness to learn aircraft systems, components, and maintenance terminology Dependable, self-directed, detail-orientated, and able to work effectively with a small team Must be local to North Texas and able to commute to Cleburne Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus Previous aircraft maintenance experience Experience reading aircraft maintenance manuals or illustrated parts catalogs Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, climbing, and working in confined spaces Ability to work from ladders, stands, and lifts at height Ability to work in hangar and outdoor ramp environments, including seasonal heat and cold
Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
