Don Maxwell Aviation Services, Inc. is a General aviation maintenance facility in Longview, TX specializing in Mooney aircraft. We work on 100s of Mooney aircraft from all over the country from annual inspections to complete refurbishments of aircraft. We are now looking for long term team member who can perform general maintenance on Mooney Aircraft. A successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality. We are seeking an Airframe and Powerplant Aircraft Mechanic who will be responsible for working on aircraft mechanical systems, and troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems. This candidate will be working with the airframe and the engine mechanics to ensure that aircraft are ready to fly safely and efficiently. The qualified candidate will have an Airfreame and Powerplant license and two years of shop experience.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair airplane engines, power systems and landing gear. Repair airplane structure, hydraulic, fuel and electrical systems. Repair airplane components. Inspect aircraft structures and systems to ensure safety rules are followed and to find maintenance problems before they become serious. Follow safety regulations when working on planes. Review drawings and schematics to determine actions needed for maintenance. Perform routine inspection of airplanes.
