Job Description
Job Summary
Airborne Imaging is an aviation company specializing in aircraft maintenance, modification, and special-mission aircraft operations. Our fleet includes Saab 340 aircraft and Gulfstream IV aircraft supporting ISR and other specialized government and commercial missions.
We are looking for an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is ideal for a hands-on mechanic who enjoys working on complex aircraft and wants to be involved in both routine maintenance, inspections, special-mission aircraft modifications, and installations.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft.
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems.
Perform inspections and maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance data, company procedures, and approved technical data.
Assist with aircraft modifications, installations, and special-mission equipment.
Perform component removal and installation, rigging, servicing, and functional testing.
Accurately document maintenance activities and return aircraft to service in accordance with applicable regulations.
Assist engineering and DER personnel with aircraft modifications and installations when required.
Work with vendors, customers, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Support aircraft on-call, travel, and field maintenance requirements as needed.
Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required and minimum of 5 years of experience.
Previous experience performing aircraft maintenance in a Part 91, Part 135, Part 121, Part 145, or similar aviation environment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical data.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required company, customer, or government credentials.
