Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Fire Alarm Senior Designer Design and specify detailed fire alarm and suppression systems adhering to local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards. Perform field surveys and attend project specific meetings Conduct thorough reviews of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compatibility of design. Provide expert technical advice and solutions to complex design challenges. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client teams to ensure specifications and designs meet quality and safety standards. Manage and oversee multiple design projects from concept through completion Obtain permits as required, including all related duties such as preparation, delivery, corrections, etc. Maintain strong working relationships with the Hiller technicians and office staff to facilitate effective communications and exceptional customer service Stay updated with latest technologies and changes in fire protection regulations. Skills and Requirements NICET Level III or Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems Required Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing fire alarm systems. Extensive experience with AutoCAD and any other relevant design software. Demonstrated knowledge of fire protection systems and applicable codes (NFPA, IBC, etc.). Ability to work independently and in a remote setting, managing time effectively and meeting project deadlines. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
