Job Description

Securitas Technology seeks an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to protect commercial and enterprise clients through real-time monitoring of integrated electronic security and life safety systems. In our technology-driven monitoring center, you will observe alarms and video, verify events, and coordinate appropriate responses with customers, key holders, and emergency services. Using advanced software and tools, you will document all incidents accurately, follow strict procedures, and uphold a culture of safety, integrity, and customer focus. Responsibilities Monitor intrusion, fire, and life safety alarms in real time using security software and video systems. Verify alarm events through established procedures and apply accurate response codes. Initiate outbound calls to customers, key holders, and emergency services as required. Document all events, actions, and communications clearly and accurately in monitoring systems. Follow strict protocols, compliance, and confidentiality standards at all times. Escalate critical or unusual incidents to supervisors and technical teams promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure 24/7 coverage and smooth shift handoffs. Use basic troubleshooting steps to identify false alarms or technical issues. Participate in ongoing training on new technologies, procedures, and customer requirements.
