Fire Alarm Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation of fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems at commercial job sites across Long Island. The candidate will begin each day at our shop in Brentwood, from where they will be driven to various job sites throughout the region. Responsibilities Install fire alarm systems and low voltage systems at commercial sites. Conduct inspections and ensure proper wiring and service of fire alarm systems. Pull wire and install conduit as necessary for system installations. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical systems and fire alarm installation. Experience with wiring, inspection, and servicing of fire alarm systems. Ability to work with low voltage systems and perform conduit installations. 3-5 years of experience in fire alarm/low voltage systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications No certifications required; willingness to learn and develop skills. Why Work Here? Each day begins at the shop in Brentwood, from where transportation to job sites is provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brentwood, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
