Job Title:
Fire Alarm Technician Job Description The role primarily involves the inspection of all low voltage systems, with minimal troubleshooting required. A standard low voltage tech experience is perfectly acceptable for this position. The technician will start each day at the shop in Brentwood and be driven to various job sites across Long Island. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of low voltage systems. Perform minimal troubleshooting tasks as needed. Ensure proper functioning of fire alarm systems. Pull and install wiring for fire alarm systems. Work with conduit and other related equipment. Essential Skills Experience in electrical work and fire alarm systems. Proficiency in wiring and inspection of fire alarms. Familiarity with low voltage systems and service tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 years of experience in fire alarm/low voltage work. Technician experience is acceptable, inspection experience is a plus. No certifications required. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
