Security Technician:

On behalf of our security client, Procom is searching for a Security Technician for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client's Essex Junction, Vermont office.

Job Description:

Join our client in enhancing safety, security, and communication through innovative technology solutions. As a Security Technician, you will be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

Security Technician

Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and configuration of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
Pull and route low-voltage cables to support security systems installation, ensuring organization and adherence to safety standards
Collaborate with the installation team for smooth system integration within data centers
Support the physical installation of security devices, including mounting and connecting equipment
Install and secure electrical conduit and cable trays according to design specifications
Assist in troubleshooting issues related to security system installations
Work closely with electricians and network specialists to coordinate installation activities
Follow safety regulations and procedures on the job site
Maintain accurate installation records and ensure quality control Security Technician
Mandatory Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of work experience in Access Control, Camera Systems, and Fire Systems
Lenel certified
Experience with cable pulling and conduit installation
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Knowledge of low-voltage systems and cable termination
Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool usage Security Technician
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Experience in the healthcare or data center industries
