On behalf of our security client, Procom is searching for a Security Technician for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client's Essex Junction, Vermont office.Security Technician•

Join our client in enhancing safety, security, and communication through innovative technology solutions. As a Security Technician, you will be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.Security Technician
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and configuration of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Pull and route low-voltage cables to support security systems installation, ensuring organization and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with the installation team for smooth system integration within data centers
- Support the physical installation of security devices, including mounting and connecting equipment
- Install and secure electrical conduit and cable trays according to design specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to security system installations
- Work closely with electricians and network specialists to coordinate installation activities
- Follow safety regulations and procedures on the job site
- Maintain accurate installation records and ensure quality control Security Technician
Mandatory Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of work experience in Access Control, Camera Systems, and Fire Systems
- Lenel certified
- Experience with cable pulling and conduit installation
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems and cable termination
- Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool usage Security Technician

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Experience in the healthcare or data center industries
