Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including sheet metal work and frame straightening, using specialized tools and techniques. Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, and welding repair utilizing MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment. Fabricate and modify parts using fabrication repair techniques, working with sheet metal and various hand tools to meet precise specifications. Apply automotive cosmetic repair methods including sanding, auto painting, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Use power tools and sanding tools efficiently for surface preparation, sanding, and finishing work. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks like auto parts installation and general automotive repair to support overall vehicle safety and performance. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Skills Proven experience as an automotive body technician or working in a dealership environment is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques with automotive welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment. Expertise in automotive structural repair, auto restoration, cosmetic repair techniques, and sheet metal work. Ability to perform auto glass installation, auto painting using airless paint spraying methods, and detailing for a polished finish. Knowledge of automotive parts installation, auto estimating processes, and general automotive repair practices. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and processes. Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs or assembly tasks. Pay:
