$28.00 per flagged hour El Monte Collision Center is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our team. We are an established collision repair facility looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can handle collision repairs independently. We offer a flat-rate compensation structure with higher rates for mechanical and frame labor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who is productive, detail-oriented, and looking for long-term employment. Responsibilities Perform collision repairs on various makes and models. Repair and replace damaged body panels and structural components. Perform frame and structural repairs, welding, and panel replacement. Perform mechanical repairs related to collision damage. Complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly. Identify hidden damage and communicate necessary supplements to management. Follow OEM repair procedures and industry standards. Maintain high-quality workmanship and production efficiency. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications 10+ years of professional auto body repair experience preferred. Strong experience in collision repair, structural repairs, welding, and panel replacement. Experience performing frame and mechanical repairs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of insurance estimates and supplement procedures. Must have own basic auto body repair tools. Dependable, productive, and detail-oriented. I-CAR certifications are a plus.
