In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damages, preparing accurate repair estimates, and communicating effectively with clients throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will have experience with auto estimating software, strong client communication skills, and a solid understanding of collision repair procedures. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles to determine necessary repairs. Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding repair scope, costs, and timelines. Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations. Assist in documenting vehicle damages and repair processes for insurance claims and record-keeping purposes. Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and client interactions to ensure efficient workflow. Stay informed about the latest collision repair techniques and estimating software updates. Experience Proven experience as an Auto Body Estimator or in a similar collision repair role preferred. Proficiency with auto estimating software is essential. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with team members. Knowledge of collision repair procedures, parts replacement, and vehicle damage assessment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must, Must have at least 2 years writing auto body shop estimates. No exceptions.
