The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Collision Prepper to support our high-volume collision repair operations. In this role, you'll prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, applying fillers and performing light disassembly/reassembly following standardized processes. You'll ensure surfaces are clean and properly prepped, maintain a safe and organized work area, and support high-quality, on-time repairs. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, masking and cleaning Apply body fillers and perform basic surface repairs to manufacturer and company standards Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly related to paint preparation Inspect prepped areas for quality, accuracy and completeness before sending to paint Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area, following all safety and environmental rules Follow standardized repair and prep processes to ensure consistent, high-quality results Communicate effectively with painters, estimators and technicians on repair status Use hand and power tools, sanders and related equipment properly and safely Required Skills Surface preparation Sanding and masking Body filler application Use of hand and power tools Knowledge of paint systems Vehicle disassembly/reassembly Detailing and cleaning vehicles Safety and OSHA compliance Quality control inspection Time management
