Job Description

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our fast-paced, customer-focused repair team. In this role, you will perform structural and non-structural collision repairs, panel replacement, bodywork, and fit/finish to manufacturer and insurance standards. You'll use frame machines, welders, and measuring systems to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, working closely with estimators, painters, and parts teams. We emphasize quality, safety, and continuous improvement, offering ongoing training in advanced repair technologies and clear career paths within our growing nationwide network of collision centers. Responsibilities Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs to OEM and insurance standards Conduct disassembly, damage analysis, and repair planning with estimators Repair and replace panels, frames, and components using proper tools and equipment Perform welding, pulling, straightening, and body filler work for proper fit and finish Use measuring systems and frame equipment to verify vehicle alignment and structure Collaborate with painters, estimators, and parts personnel to ensure on-time delivery Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards in the shop Document repair operations and communicate status updates to leadership Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition Participate in ongoing training on new materials, repair methods, and technologies Required Skills Collision repair Structural repair Non-structural bodywork Automotive welding Frame straightening Automotive refinishing prep Use of measuring systems Panel replacement and alignment Automotive diagnostics related to body repairs Repair blueprint reading
