Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle is repaired efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto body repairs involving dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles' appearance. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks. Install automotive parts such as glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards. Apply auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and auto body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration, including detailing, assembly, and auto parts installation. Collaborate closely with customers and team members to ensure clear communication of repair progress and quality expectations. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication using various automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and other shop equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with auto restoration projects and automotive parts installation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repair processes.
