Job Description
Roper Body Shop is part of Roper Auto Group, which has been in business since 1958, starting as Roper Pontiac. We now have 7 locations, with 2 dealerships, several sales lots, and a full-service body shop. Roper's is a family-owned business where employees are cared about and nurtured. Auto Body Tech We are seeking an experienced auto body painter to work in a busy shop environment. Auto Body Painter Qualification Minimum 3 years' experience as a lead painter ideal. Experience with PPG Envirobase Paint a bonus. Ability to finish jobs in a timely manner. Must bring your own tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. I-CAR Training may be required as needed. Valid Driver's License. Auto Body Painter Responsibilities Work with entire team to bring customer's vehicle back to pre-accident condition. Refinish vehicle as per estimate according to manufacturer's standards. Verify bodywork performed correctly before refinishing. Prepare vehicle for refinish. Notify management of any additional repairs or difficulties with the repairs. Clean up/nib & polish painted panels as needed. Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repair. Comply with law and regulations pertaining to hazardous waste materials.
