Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct auto restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged parts, including auto glass, bumpers, and panels, ensuring proper fitment and finish. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and automotive refinishing to achieve a seamless appearance. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and fabrication repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Install automotive parts including trim, moldings, lighting components, and auto glass with attention to detail. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed and perform heavy lifting safely during repairs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in auto body repair and automotive structural repairs. Expertise in sheet metal work, auto restoration techniques, and automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding and auto painting. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and automotive parts installation. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint sprayers efficiently. Knowledge of auto glass installation and automotive dent repair methods. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all repairs performed. Good physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair procedures and timelines.
